This is another no-bake treat like no other! It’s made with protein powder, and each ball contains 6 grams of protein! All you need to whip this up is five ingredients minus the salt. Mix everything, shape into balls, and keep in the fridge to firm. This recipe yield about 22 to 24 energy balls. You can double or triple this recipe easily if needed. If you need a quick, filling, and healthy snack, these no-bake energy balls are perfect! You can even have these protein energy balls for breakfast or dessert. Feel free to use whatever protein powder you like. You can even use a combination of your favourite protein powder like half vanilla and half chocolate protein powder.
INGREDIENTS :
- 1 1/3 c. old fashioned oats (rolled oats)
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 c. vanilla protein powder
- 1 1/2 c. no-stir creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 c. mini dark chocolate chips
- 1/8 tsp salt
DIRECTIONS :
Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add the no-stir creamy peanut butter, honey, rolled oats, vanilla protein powder, salt, and mini dark chocolate chips. Mix using a rubber spatula until the batter is combined.
Step 2: Scoop or spoon the batter onto a wax paper-covered cookie sheet. You can use a mini cookie scoop or spoon for this, just make sure that the ball is around 1 inch in size.
Step 3: Using your hands, roll the energy balls to form the shape.
Step 4: Keep the energy bites in the fridge for at least an hour or until they hardened. Then, transfer them to a Ziploc bag and store them in the freezer.
Notes:
- For this recipe, you can use your preferred protein powder. You can use vanilla or chocolate protein powder or a mixture of both.
- You can make around 22 to 24 good-sized energy bites with this recipe, and each ball contains 6 grams of protein.
