Chocolate Skillet Cake Ice Cream Yum :

INGREDIENTS :

  • ° ½ cup sugar.
  • ° 2 teaspoons of starch
  • ° Pinch of salt
  • ° 2 cups milk
  • ° 1 cup of medium-sweet chocolate, finely grated
  • ++ Whipping cream
  • ° 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • ° ½ cup of medium-sweetened dark chocolate cubes

DIRECTIONS :

  1. Pour sugar, starch and salt into a metal bowl, add cup of milk to them, and mix the ingredients well with the hand mixer until the starch is completely dissolved.
  2. Then add the remaining amount of milk, and whisk the mixture well until mixed, then place the bowl on a medium heat and continue to whisk until its texture thickens and begins to boil.
  3. Leave the mixture to boil for a minute, stirring from time to time, and then remove the mixture from the stove.
  4. Pour the grated chocolate into the mixture, leave it for a minute until it melts, then stir the mixture until it mixes well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a deep bowl, add the cream and vanilla, and beat the mixture with an electric beater until mixed well.
  6. Add dark chocolate cubes to the mixture, and stir with it until distributed well, then cover the bowl with nylon paper and leave in the refrigerator for two hours, preferably overnight.
  7. Taking mixture out of refrigerator also pour it to an ice creaam maaker.
  8. And you can replace the ice cream maker by leaving the mixture bowl in the freezer for an hour and a half.
  9. When the mixture reaches the freezing stage, it is removed from the freezer, and whipped with the electric paddle again until the ice crystals inside it break and become like a firm cream.
  10. Return the bowl to the freezer, and repeat the process three more times until the ice cream takes its usual shape and texture.
  11. Take ice cream from freezer and garnish with chocolate sauce, and serve
