- 1 stick butter
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 teaspoons sugar
DIRECTIONS :
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 450 degrees.
Step 2: In a medium-sized bowl, place all the dry ingredients (all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar). Mix well until blended.

Step 4: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Into an 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch baking dish, pour the melted butter. Note to use a not too small or shallow pan to prevent the butter from dripping out of the pan.

Step 6: Into 9 even squares, cut the unbaked dough. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Step 7: Remove from the oven when done. Enjoy these butter swim biscuits for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
