Total crowd-pleasers, these Salmon Patties are best served when you have guests over! Serve them as is or with your favorite dipping sauces. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS :

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c parsley, finely minced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 1-pound fresh salmon filet*
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Garlic salt, I used Lawry’s Brand, to taste
  • 1 c Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 medium yellow onion, 1 c, finely diced
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper, or to taste

DIRECTIONS :

  1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 218 degrees C or 425 degrees F.
  2. Line with parchment paper onto a rimmed baking sheet.
  3. Lay the salmon in the middle of the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon. Sprinkle garlic salt and black pepper on top to season.
  5. Place the salmon inside the preheated oven and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until done.
  6. Remove the salmon from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
  7. Use two forks to flake the salmon, then remove the skin and any bones.
  8. Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
  9. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil, then allow them to become hot.
  10. Add bell pepper and onion, then sauté for about 7 minutes or until soft. Turn off the heat.
  11. Add the sauteed veggies, 2 beaten eggs, flaked salmon, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 3 tbsp mayonnaise, 1 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, 1 tsp garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
  12. Shape the mixture into patties.
  13. Place a non-stick pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
  14. Add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp oil, then allow them to become hot.
  15. Add the salmon patties, then cook each side for about 3 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  16. Transfer the salmon patties onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  17. Serve and enjoy!
