INGREDIENTS :
- 2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour
- 1teaspoon of baking soda
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 1cup of softened butter
- ¾ cup of granulated sugar
- ¾ cup of packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1teaspoon of vanilla
- 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
- 1cup of coarsely chopped nuts, optional
DIRECTIONS :
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Step 2: Mix the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl and leave it. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together with an electric mixer on a medium speed. Check until it gets fluffy while scraping the side of the bowl occasionally.
- Step 3: Beat the egg and vanilla together until it is smooth. Pour into the flour mixture and stir well. Also stir in the chocolate chips and nuts well.
- Step 4: Drop the dough with a rounded tablespoon full, two inches apart in the ungreased.
- Step 5: Leave it to bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until it turns light brown. Leave it to cool for 2 minutes, remove the cookie from the cookie sheet and place on the cooling rack for about 30 minutes to cool completely. You can store in an air tight container.
