INGREDIENTS :
CRUST:
- 1 – 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoon sugar
FILLING:
- 1 – 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
COOKIE DOUGH:
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2/3 cup chocolate chips, ( i used milk chocolate )
- pinch of salt
DIRECTIONS :
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 325 degrees F.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, add the butter, graham cracker crumbs, and sugar. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Apply cooking spray in a 9×9-inch baking pan.
Step 4: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press it hard on the bottom.
Step 5: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes or until done.
Step 6: Remove from the oven and set aside.
Step 7: In a small mixing bowl, add 1/3 cup of sugar and cream cheese. Stir until well mixed.
Step 8: Add in the vanilla and egg. Beat until well combined.
Step 9: Place the mixture over the crust and spread it evenly.
Step 10: In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and brown sugar. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 11: Add salt and 3/4 cup of flour. Whisk until it becomes a dough.
Step 12: Fold in chocolate chips and stir until well blended.
Step 13: Form small balls out of the cookie dough.
Step 14: Sprinkle broken nuggets of dough on top of the cheesecake layer.
Step 15: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the top of the cookie dough turns brown.
Step 16: Remove from the oven and cool at room temperature.
Step 17: Cut into small squares and place them in an airtight container.
Step 18: Serve and enjoy!
