INGREDIENTS :
Cake:
- 1/3 c butter softened
- 3 Eggs
- 1/2 c creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 c chocolate-flavoured syrup
- 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ yellow cake mix
- 1 c water
Toppings:
- 1 c powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp chocolate-flavoured syrup
- 20 Reese’s peanut butter cups miniatures, unwrapped and cut in half
- 3 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 2 to 3 tbsp milk
DIRECTIONS :
- Apply cooking spray in a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Add 1/2 cup of peanut butter, cake mix, butter, water, and eggs into a large bowl. Beat until well blended.
- Transfer 2/3 cup of the batter, then add it into a separate bowl.
- Add 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup, then beat until well blended to make the chocolate fudge batter.
- Add 1/2 of the peanut butter and the chocolate batter into the prepared slow cooker, then spread it evenly.
- Add the rest of the peanut butter on top and spread it evenly as well.
- Design the top by running a knife on it.
- Cover the slow cooker, then cook everything for 1 hour and 45 minutes on a high setting or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
- Remove the cake from the slow cooker and let it cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
- In a mixing bowl, add 2 tablespoons of milk and 3 tablespoons of peanut butter, then whisk until well blended.
- Add the sugar, then whisk until well blended as well.
- Add the glaze on top of the cooled cake and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle peanut butter cups on top.
- Serve and enjoy!
