Toast with melted cheese from Texas.

Spread the love

Bread For the tastiest garlic cheese toast, use thick slices of white bread, either regular or sourdough. In the grocery store, you can find it in the frozen section under the name “Texas Toast.” Search for bread that is sturdy enough to support the toppings and to dip into soups and sauces!

BUTTER Use butter for the best outcome. Margarine can also be used, but it won’t have the same taste as butter!

Queso I used three types of cheese: cheddar, Monterey Jack, and parmesan. You can use any cheese you have available! Mozzarella, Emmental, or Swiss cheese will all be delicious!

A plant used in cooking. Freshly chopped garlic really enhances the flavor. Decide how much garlic to add based on how much you love it!
