Layer after layer of delicious flavors in this Taco Pizza! I am so glad that I gave this recipe a try because I never would have tasted perfection! In just a couple of minutes, you can have the best pizza to serve today. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS :
- 1/4 c sliced black olives
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 2-3 c shredded cheddar cheese I used Colby and Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 16 oz. can of refried beans
- 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 c chopped tomatoes
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 10 oz. can of refrigerated Pillsbury pizza dough
DIRECTIONS :
- Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
- Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
- Add the ground beef, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown. Discard any accumulated fat.
- Add the taco seasoning, then stir until well blended.
- Place the pizza dough onto a 10×15-inch cookie sheet, then unroll it. Leave it at room temperature for about five minutes.
- Press the dough to the sides and bottom of the cookie sheet.
- Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes or until it turns golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In a heat-proof bowl, add the refried beans. Place it inside the microwave and heat for a minute.
- Add the beans on top of the pizza crust and spread it evenly.
- Add the beef mixture over the beans.
- Sprinkle cheese over the beef mixture.
- Top everything with green onion, tomatoes, and black olives.
- Put it back inside the oven and bake for 5 to 7 minutes more or until the cheese turns golden brown and melts completely.
- Remove from the oven.
- Serve right away and enjoy!
Note:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge. They can last up to 2 days.
