Layer after layer of delicious flavors in this Taco Pizza! I am so glad that I gave this recipe a try because I never would have tasted perfection! In just a couple of minutes, you can have the best pizza to serve today. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1/4 c sliced black olives
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 2-3 c shredded cheddar cheese I used Colby and Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 16 oz. can of refried beans
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 c chopped tomatoes
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 10 oz. can of refrigerated Pillsbury pizza dough

DIRECTIONS :

  1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
  2. Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
  3. Add the ground beef, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown. Discard any accumulated fat.
  4. Add the taco seasoning, then stir until well blended.
  5. Place the pizza dough onto a 10×15-inch cookie sheet, then unroll it. Leave it at room temperature for about five minutes.
  6. Press the dough to the sides and bottom of the cookie sheet.
  7. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes or until it turns golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  8. In a heat-proof bowl, add the refried beans. Place it inside the microwave and heat for a minute.
  9. Add the beans on top of the pizza crust and spread it evenly.
  10. Add the beef mixture over the beans.
  11. Sprinkle cheese over the beef mixture.
  12. Top everything with green onion, tomatoes, and black olives.
  13. Put it back inside the oven and bake for 5 to 7 minutes more or until the cheese turns golden brown and melts completely.
  14. Remove from the oven.
  15. Serve right away and enjoy!

Note:

Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge. They can last up to 2 days.
