INGREDIENTS :
- 1½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ c low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 pound bacon
- ⅔ c brown sugar
- 5 (15 ounces) cans green beans, drained
- ¼ c butter melted
DIRECTIONS :
- Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
- Drain the green beans.
- Lay the drained green beans into a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
- Add the bacon, then cook until brown and crispy.
- Transfer the crispy bacon onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease.
- When cooled, roughly chop the bacon into small pieces.
- Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the green beans in the baking pan.
- In a bowl, add garlic powder, melted butter, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Stir until well blended.
- Pour the mixture over the green beans and bacon. Spread it evenly and make sure they are well covered.
- Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes or until done.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
