INGREDIENTS :
- 8 oz Ribeye Steak thinly sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 green bell pepper sliced
- 1 yellow onion sliced
- 4 oz mushrooms sliced
- 1 loaf French bread cut in half lengthwise
- 1/4 c mayonnaise
- 8 oz Provolone cheese sliced
DIRECTIONS
- Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.\
- Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper.
- Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
- Add canola oil and allow it to become hot.
- Add the seasoned steak and sear each side for about 2 minutes or until brown.
- Add in Worcestershire sauce and toss until the steak is well coated.
- Remove the steak from the skillet onto a clean plate.
- Add butter into the skillet and allow it to melt.
- Add the onion, mushroom, and bell peppers. Sauté until soft.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper to season. Stir and cook for about 2 minutes.
- Line the bread slices with mayonnaise.
- Top each bread with Provolone Cheese.
- Top with the steak and veggies.
- Sprinkle more cheese over each bread.
- Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until done.
- Remove from the oven and slice them into bite-size pieces.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
