No one ever likes a dry ham! That is just plain sad and boring! So how do we make the best and juiciest ham? It’s no secret actually. Before this recipe, I used to be afraid of ham, so I ended up only buying expensive ham. Thank goodness for this simple recipe, I can now enjoy ham at home without breaking the bank. The best part is, I can make them myself!

I was surprised to know that all we need are three ingredients (sprite, ham, and oven cooking bag) to make a juicy and moist ham. Dump the ham in the cooking bag and pour in the sprite, then bake it following the correct cooking time depending on the size of the ham. So simple yet guarantee the perfect ham! I even use the cheapest ham (just not the spiral ones), and it turns out juicy always!

This recipe is incredibly simple, and I think anyone can handle this. I will understand if you are sceptical, but you’ll never know not until you try this Juicy Ham recipe.

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1 can Sprite (12 ounces)
  • 1 Ham (I don’t recommend buying a spiral, but any other ham will do)
  • 1 oven cooking bag

DIRECTIONS :

Step 1: Inside the cooking bag, place the ham. Remember not to pierce the bag.

Step 2: In a large baking pan, place the bag with ham. You can line the baking pan with foil for easy clean-up.

Step 3: Inside the bag, pour the sprite. Seal and position the baking pan on the lower rack of the oven. This will ensure the inflated bag will not touch the heating element.

Step 4: Bake the ham as directed (pending on the size).

Step 5: Remove from the oven when done and serve the ham immediately. Enjoy!
