Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 slices SASKO More Slices White Bread
  • 3 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2 slices sandwich ham
  • 1/3 cup grated cheese
  • ½ spring onion, sliced

Serving suggestion:

  • Tomato sauce
  • Chopped fresh parsley and chives

Directions:

Step 1: In a medium mixing bowl, add the milk and eggs. Whisk until well mixed and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2: Brush butter on both sides of the sliced bread.

Step 3: Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 4: Add butter and allow it to melt.

Step 5: Add the egg and milk mixture.

Step 6: Add the 2 sliced bread right away. Make sure that the bread soaks up all the egg mixture.

Step 7: Flip the omelette and cook for 1 minute or until golden brown.

Step 8: Fold the eggs into the sliced bread.

Step 9: Place ham on top of one sliced bread and sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheese and spring onions on top.

Step 10: Place the other sliced bread on top of the other forming a sandwich. Cook for another 30 seconds.

Step 11: Remove from the heat and use a spatula to get the omelette sandwich when the cheese has melted completely.

Step 12: Place it on a clean serving plate, then sprinkle fresh herbs on top.

Step 13: Serve and enjoy!
