This is an easy recipe you can try for tonight’s dinner! Everyone is going to love these Oven-Baked Chicken, for sure! You only need a few ingredients for this. You can either use chicken breasts or thighs. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS :
- 1.5 pounds chicken breasts and/or thighs (bone-in and skin-on)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- juice from 1 lemon
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp black pepper
- juice from 1 orange
DIRECTIONS :
- In a large resealable bag, add all the ingredients aside from the chicken breasts. Shake the bag to combine everything.
- Add the chicken inside the bag, then shake it again to coat.
- Place the bag in the fridge to marinate the chicken for at least an hour.
- Prepare the oven and preheat it to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
- Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and place them into a baking pan. Season with a bit more salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake the chicken breasts for about 55 minutes or until done.
- Remove from the oven and allow the chicken breasts to rest for at least 5 minutes at room temperature.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
- Use can use an instant-read thermometer to check the doneness of the chicken. It should read about 165 degrees F.
- Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge. They can last up to 3 days or 4 months in the freezer. Reheat for a few minutes before serving again.
