INGREDIENTS :
- 1 tsp Dried Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 4 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
- Salt/Pepper – to taste
- 4 tbsp Butter
- Chopped Parsley
- 2 c Beef Broth
- 1 Sweet Onion – chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
DIRECTIONS :
- Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high. Add the ground beef, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown.
- Add the onions, then sauté for about 2 minutes or until soft. Remove any accumulated grease. Add butter and allow it to melt.
- Add flour, then whisk and cook for about a minute to remove the raw taste.
- Add salt, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and broth. Stir everything until well incorporated and allow it to boil.
- Turn the heat down to medium, then stir and simmer the mixture for a few minutes until the texture becomes thick.
- Remove the pan from the heat.
- Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top to garnish.
- Serve right away over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
Notes:
- Taste before adding more salt. Remember that the broth already has salt in it.
- Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge. Reheat for a few minutes before serving again.
