Whenever I am thinking about comfort food, this pasta dish is what comes to mind. Not only that this is incredibly delicious, but this only takes minutes to whip up, making this one of the best meals to throw together on the busiest and laziest days!
This creamy french onion sausage pasta never fails me. I am always excited to whip this up because I can use whatever I have on hand from chicken, ground beef, and even meatballs. And I can make this with minimal to zero effort which makes this way better! If you are obsessed with one-pot meals, then you have to try this. This is super addicting!
INGREDIENTS :
- 1 pound spicy or sweet ground sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 c. cream cheese
- 1 (10.5 ounces) can condense french onion soup
- 2 c. egg noodles
- 2 1/2 c. beef broth
- 1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. full-fat sour cream
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/ ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS :
Step 1: Heat the olive oil in a large soup pot over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the onions to the pot along with the sausage, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the sausage is brown and stir well.
Step 2: Into the pot, pour the condensed French soup, soup, cream cheese, beef broth, and egg noodles. Stir well.
Step 3: Cook the noodles for about 8 to 10 minutes until completely cooked. Add the sour cream along with the grated Parmesan. Stir well until blended.
Step 4: Serve the creamy French onion sausage pasta right away. Enjoy!
