INGREDIENTS :
- 1 lb. mild breakfast sausage
- 2 c shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 6 Eggs, beaten
DIRECTIONS :
- Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
- Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Put a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
- Add the sausage, then cook until crumbly and brown. Discard accumulated fat.
- Lay the crescent rolls into the prepared baking dish and arrange them in a single layer.
- Scatter the browned sausage over the rolls.
- Pour the eggs on top of the sausage layer and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of cheese over the eggs.
- Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake the casserole for about 30 minutes or until done.
- Remove from the oven and allow the casserole to rest for a few minutes at room temperature
- Serve warm and enjoy!
