Chicken is always a favourite at home. It is a staple and our week is not complete without chicken. I have my favourite and go-to chicken recipes. One of them is this baked Parmesan chicken. It is made with only a few simple ingredients and ready in a breeze.

Enjoy a delicious, juicy, and tender chicken coated in fantastic, well-balanced flavours for dinner, and pair this up with your favourite side dishes. The Parmesan chicken is baked to juicy perfection, and the cheese has melted and become crispy over the chicken.

I got this recipe from a friend a few years back. She knows how I love chicken. I immediately fell in love with this easy recipe because this only needs simple ingredients, and I can whip this up quickly. All I need is to mix everything, smother the chicken, and pop this in the oven. In no time, I have the best chicken dinner perfect for my whole family!

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1 c. light mayonnaise or Greek yoghurt (I used ½ of each)
  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese and reserve more for top
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoning salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

DIRECTIONS :

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees. Using cooking spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Inside the prepared pan, lay the chicken.

Step 2: Combine the light mayonnaise or Greek yoghurt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, Parmesan cheese, and pepper until well mixed. Over each piece of chicken, evenly spread the mixture and top with the rest of the fresh Parmesan.

Step 3: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes, uncovered.
