INGREDIENTS :
BATTER
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
CINNAMON/SUGAR MIXTURE
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
DIRECTIONS :
- In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of sugar, butter, and eggs. Beat until well mixed.
- Add flour, baking soda, and buttermilk. Beat until well combined.
- In another mixing bowl, add cinnamon and 1/3 cup of sugar. Stir until well combined.
- Apply cooking spray into a loaf pan.
- Add half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle 3/4 of the cinnamon mixture over the batter.
- Spread the rest of the batter over the cinnamon mixture.
- Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon mixture over the second layer of batter.
- Use a knife to swirl on top of the batter.
- Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
- Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
- Serve and enjoy!
