INGREDIENTS :
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 small cabbage, chopped
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, chicken, or pork
- 1 can(s) diced tomatoes, 28 ounces
- 3/4 c water
- 1/2 c quick-cooking rice
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 tsp each salt and pepper
- 1 can(s) plain tomato sauce, 8 ounces
DIRECTIONS :
- Put a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
- Add oil and let it sizzle.
- Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown.
- Add the onion, then sauté until soft.
- Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic.
- Add the rice and stir until well mixed.
- Add the tomato, salt, tomato sauce, and pepper. Stir and cook for a minute.
- Add water and cabbage, then stir until well blended. Allow the mixture to boil.
- Move the mixture into a slow cooker.
- Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook for 2 to 3 hours at 150 degrees C.
- Serve right away and enjoy!
