  1. Lay the loin cutlets onto a chopping board, then cover each with plastic wrap. Gently pound each with a meat mallet to even sizes. Unwrap, then sprinkle salt and pepper to season.
  2. In three mixing bowls, add flour, breadcrumbs, and milk & egg mixture separately.
  3. Dredge each cutlet into the bowl with flour, egg mixture, and breadcrumbs. Remove any excess by shaking it. Repeat the process with the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add oil and allow it to become hot.
  5. Add the coated pork cutlets into the hot skillet, then fry each side for 3 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  6. Remove the German Pork Schnitzels from the skillet and transfer them onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve with steamed veggies on the sides and some mashed potatoes. Enjoy!

Notes:

  • It is important to tenderize the pork by pounding it. This will help cook them faster.
  • I highly recommend using pork loin for this recipe.
  • This recipe can serve up to 4 people. Make sure to double the recipe if you are serving more than that.
