INGREDIENTS :

  • Dash salt & ground black pepper
  • 1-pound hot sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 2 packages of crescent rolls
  • 1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese

DIRECTIONS :

  1. Prepare the oven and preheat it to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
  2. Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add the sausage, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown. Sprinkle salt and pepper to season. Remove any accumulated grease.
  3. Stir in cream cheese until well incorporated.
  4. Roll out one crescent roll package, then lay it onto a baking sheet. Press the sides to seal.
  5. Add the sausage mixture over the dough and spread it evenly and leave about 1/2-inch space to the sides.
  6. Roll out the 2nd dough and place it on top of the sausage layer. Press the sides of the dough to seal.
  7. Toss it in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the top turns golden brown. Remove from the oven and slice it into small cuts.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
